Bring the MPs pay back down from £75,000 to £67,000£64,000 is plenty amount of cash for members of parliament, so why are the MPs taking a large pay rise while the BBC and working families take a pay cut for already rich MPs to get a higher pay check. It's selfish and we must stop it. There pay rise is causing damage to working families and public services (Eg Transport) the BBC is now on its knees97 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Jamie Whitehouse

Keep the RBS PUBLICIt is wrong for taxpayers, who will surely stand to lose substantial amounts in any such fire sale. It is wrong for small businesses, as ministers and voters will lose whatever grip they had on directing lending to hard-pressed companies that are facing bankruptcy or big losses thanks to the harsh financing terms extended by high-street banks. And finally, it is wrong for the British economy, which is struggling to emerge from a severe recession caused by banks running wild.33 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Jeremy Corbyn

PEACE NOWFollowing the recent massacres in Egypt, France, Kuwait and Tunisia it's time for real action by world governments. Irresponsible governments and regimes must understand that the people of the world can't watch more bloodshed in silence. If we don't see real action to bring about peace in the world we will act.27 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Elsayed Selim

STOP MULTINATIONAL COMPANIES EVADING UK TAXATIONThe EU seems to be up for it, but for some unknown reason George Osborne is against it! WTF is going on here?! Every year our budget as a nation of taxpayers is denied billions of pounds of legitimate revenue because the Tory Government is too spineless to tackle this issue. Or are they simply in cahoots?! If they are, this is corruption at the highest level... This is a well documented issue. Many big multinational companies find ways to evade corporate taxation by allegedly basing their operation in tax havens such as Luxembourg. This is the oldest dodge in the book and it has run out of credibility. If these companies are doing huge amounts of business with UK taxpayers, they should pay their dues to HMRC. This should be an open and shut case, but it's not, mainly because they are not being brought to book by the government.154 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Marcus Lidell

Let mature students access new Masters scholarshipsTo restrict postgraduate funding to very new graduates excludes a vast proportion of the population who could undertake Masters level study to benefit both their own career and the academic institutions at which they study. It discriminates on the grounds of age, when arguably some of the most valuable Masters candidates are those with a good level of industry experience who can bring more than just intelligence to their chosen course. Widening eligibility criteria for government funding is essential to allow proper functioning of postgraduate education and research in the UK.70 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Helen Compton

Ban the sale of UK Household and Tuition fee debtThe sale of debt contributed heavily to the financial crisis that we are all experiencing. Continuing this practice is detrimental to the social and economic well being of the UK.127 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Daniel Lewis

Members of Parliament Pay RiseIf we are to turn this country around and save money, how is it right that Members of Parliament get such a large increase in comparison to other public sector workers. We have all had to make sacrifices over the last 7 years because the pay rises given to NHS workers in particular, have been at 1% or less, which has not been keeping up with inflation. This is all public money that comes out of all of our pockets (those that have, still are, or will be) paying income tax. I have emailed my own MP to ask him to act, so if everyone does this, then maybe we will be heard.112 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Tony Baker

Government needs to make rail travel more affordableBecause the ability to travel in rural areas in an affordable way can mean the difference between being able to work and not being able to work. Also it means that more people can visit interesting places without it costing a fortune.134 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Kate Patay

Revoke bank licences to operateClearly all the promises from senior management in banks that mistakes will not be repeated, that lessons have been learned, etc have been empty ones. How many more scandals must we endure? Why do we continue to reward failure among those that employ highly paid personnel by allowing them to continue to operate and fail again? Organisations breaching laws, such as those related to health & safety, can be closed down and directors held accountable: time for those who contravene legislation in the financial sector to face similar penalties.32 of 100 SignaturesCreated by L Forbes

Free the "Hound of Hounslow"Financial institutions around the world employ the same techniques in market trading as Navinder Sarao. They should be prosecuted as well, and first before prosecuting an individual like Navinder Sarao. In addition, due to the length of time the extradition proceedings are likely to take and the difficulty of the US being able to convince a judge that they do have a case, keeping him in prison is cruel and inhuman. He must be freed on minimum bail and surrender his passport instead.11 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Gavin Skilton

Call for your local candidate to support a "Robin Hood Tax"The Austerity programme the last coalition Government implemented, has hit the poorest and most vulnerable in our society the hardest. You might have noticed that the economic crisis and the recession have left a massive hole in the UK’s public finances. Frontline services and jobs are at risk. Many other developed and developing countries face a similar struggle. The financial sector is responsible for a big part of the mess we're in. So our merry band of hundreds of thousands of Robin Hood supporters believe that banks, hedge funds and the rest of the sector should pay their fair share to clear up the mess they helped create.
