There are so many buildings not used in the Liverpool area which could be used over winter for the growing number of homeless people in Liverpool. The winter months bring so many fatalities which could be avoided if people were allowed to sleep inside. Ex- Manchester United star Gary Neville has opened the doors to his building in Manchester just for the winter months and also has offered jobs to homeless people, when he plans to renevate it next summer. Despite this, we have the space that could house every homeless person in Birmingham but bureaucracy stops the council doing just this!! It's inexcusable when we have so many empty buildings.
