Brexit - Finish the jobAs a result of the recent #Brexit referendum, world economies generally have been adversely affected with predictions of long term recession particularly for the UK. It beggars belief that our current government is now focused on internal party leadership matters and effectively washing its hands of the affair. Irrespective of individual positions and points of view concerning the referendum and its result, we now need our government to move quickly, clearly and decisively to manage the UK's exit from the EU.28 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Ian Walker

Unite to RemainThe Referendum victory was based on lies and fear and is already having devastating social and financial consequences. Many voters are already appalled by the reality of what has been chosen. We should not just accept the result of an election won by lies. Not least among these lies was the promise of extra money for the NHS- money now pouring away in extra debt repayments as the UK's credit rating drops. People were conned. We call on all major parties to demand a General Election and to come together in every constituency to offer a single Remain candidate, standing on a ticket of solidarity for Europe and for tolerance and social cohesion. A Remain block could win, producing a mandate to overturn a Referendum vote that was driven by dishonest claims, impossible promises and hate-filled propaganda. We are stronger when we work together for the common good.76 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Catherine Hemming

English in support of Scottish Parliament blocking BrexitThe English were misled by a series of lies and omissions of fact by the Brexit campaign. Their main stance on anti-immigration and financial redirection of EU funds to the NHS has since been redacted less than a week after their victory in the referendum, a victory which was based significantly on these two statements of intent. In addition to these mistruths, it is now becoming clear that there are significant financial consequences personally, nationally and internationally to this rash and unchallenged position and the consequences of the Brexit vote are further deep reaching than the Brexit camp ever admitted to. Brexit ran their campaign on a series of rejections of qualified statements from national and international institutions such as the CBI, IMF and the Bank of England amongst international partners such as the USA, Australia and New Zealand as well as our EU partners who all rejected the role of Brexit as a solution to any perceived or real EU issues. In rejecting these qualified statements, Brexit consistently failed to provide adequate evidence against these esteemed institutions whilst at the same time providing little to no evidence of their own ability to manage the subsequent fallout economically and the socially divisive nature of a successful Brexit result, both nationally and on the world stage. As a consequence, I appeal to the English who did not support Brexit or who have subsequently come to realise both the shallow nature of the abilities of the Brexit campaigners to actually effectively manage Brexit and the already occurring consequences to show that Scotland is not alone amongst the UK but is supported by the English who wish to remain within the EU, fighting not for a divided Europe but for a better EU. Thank you.59 of 100 SignaturesCreated by David H

Hold an open democratic election for the job of england managerThe role of england manager is a public role not unlike a politician and therefore should be democratically elected. We demand an open election to democratically select the next england manager after the immediate dismissal of the non-performing Roy Hodgson.2 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Aaron Richmond

allow freedom of movement for immigrantsI believe people should be given freedom to go where they want and do as they please and this includes immigrants because they're people to and I believe that every human deserves the same amount of respect and dignity, I mean just because they're poor and they might come in your country doesnt mean they're bad people infact I believe that the people who don't want immigrants aren't good people7 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Samuel Thornton

Bring down pensionable age !I'm a nurse and must wait until I'm 66-67 before I can receive my old age pension from the Gov. My nhs contributed personal pension won't cover my monthly bills if I retire at 60 yrs old and I'm sure there are a lot more people out there in the same predicament! Women used to reach retirement age at 60 yrs old so let's re consider this important aspect of being able to enjoy retirement with enough money to do so rather than having the possibility of being too ill in old age beforehand35 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Janet Cowl

I voted for BREXIT but changed my mind.It is an incredibly important decision that simply cannot be taken lightly, especially with such a tight margin in the deciding votes. Since the vote results the country has had more concise information presented to its population and with such unprecedented circumstances I feel it is imperitive to keep listening to the population's feeling on this matter. After all, the referendum was merely an advisory, certainly not a legally binding vote. Propaganda, muddied facts and figures all played a huge part in the exit, especially regarding the NHS (one of the beacons of the leave campaign), and then what and how the EU actually benefited the UK, especially in the areas of the country that prodominantly voted high to leave.10 of 100 SignaturesCreated by James Tarn

Reintroduce Politics to the youthDuring the latest EU referendum it was apparent that the youth of the country did not want to leave the EU. Unfortunately the percentage of young voters (18-25) was too low to make a difference. It's thought that during the 2015 general election only 52% of the eligible young voters participated. Whilst up from the 38% experienced during 2005, it's still well below that of other demographics. By educating future generations around the importance of voting along with the practicality's of how to vote, voter apathy can be reduced before it's a problem.80 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Aaran Pereira

Call for a three option referendum in the Brexit leave deal. Accept/decline/stayThis is important as many voters feel mislead after the referendum. This will give the whole of the UK time to understand what is really on offer at the end of negotiations. Will immigration be reduced, how much money will we really have available after withdrawal. This will ensure Brexit negotiations will focus on what has been promised, and show the voters what is on offer.24 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Gavin Brett

Introduce "Contempt of Community" lawThe proliferation of cynical lies contained within the recent referendum debate from both sides of the argument has exacerbated the divisions and mistrust now held by our people. The subsequent admissions of the use of false information by some have the potential to depress voters and increase the feelings of the lack of integrity within our society. We all deserve a better attention to truth than is currently displayed.9 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Iain Johnson

Re-run the UK referendum on EU membershipThose who voted in the EU referendum did so without the accurate, balanced, specific information they needed on which to make an informed judgment. As a result of the vote for Brexit the UK has been plunged into economic, political and social turmoil and uncertainty that will last for years and are likely to damage the country profoundly. Millions of those who voted Leave are now realising the vast, complex and negative impact of their choice, for the UK, Europe and the world - and so are those who voted Remain. Ireland voted NO in both referendums on the Maastricht and Nice Treaties, and on both occasions the Prime Minister went back to the people to vote again - and both times they changed their vote to YES. The same can be done in the UK. David Cameron needs to have the courage to swallow his pride and take responsibility for restoring stability and creating unity in a country which desperately needs both.35 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Lindsay Wittenberg
