Prime Minister Boris Johnson has threatened to privatise the Passport Office if it does not sort out the delays and start delivering better value for money. Getting a passport should be something everyone can access and be a simple process, but selling the passport office off to the highest bidder could increase costs with no guarantee that current issues would be solved.

The Mangrove was a hub of black resistance in 1970. Activists organised a march to protest police harassment but were arrested for incitement to riot. The trial of the Mangrove 9 led to the first Judicial admission of police racism in Britain. The building should be preserved and memorialised as a place of historic interest. This petition will be sent to English Heritage to support the application for listed status. Help to support the application to English Heritage. Black British history is an integral part of British history and must not be marginalised.

Bordesley residents in particular, but also other residents of Millward Meadows and Hither Green Lane will suffer massive delays over 5 months resulting in lost income, lost time and increased traffic fumes.

Harmful emissions from vehicles are responsible for 90% of air pollution – and in Birmingham alone, up to 900 people per year die early as a result of air pollution. High speed limits, high traffic volumes and queuing vehicles significantly increase air pollution – and we recognise all of this on the A441 in Bordesley. Over the years, Bordesley has seen an increase in traffic levels, traffic queues and heavy vehicles. In addition, Bordesley has seen a significant increase in speeding vehicles. As a result of all these factors Bordesley has high levels of air and noise pollution which is now affecting the health of the residents.

There are no full paths down Gloucester road meaning any walk forces pedestrians to cross at least twice through fast oncoming traffic. Being a beautiful ancient town the existing paths are too thin for safe passage for more than 1 person at a time, meaning small children are forced to walk ahead of parents and carers exposed to the road which is a school zone. As the area is also double yellow lines, pedestrians have no further protection from the direct traffic meaning one wrong move from a vehicle at a speed of 30mph would be an instant fatality. People have been hit by passing cars as well as local houses having been crashed into and rebuilt because of the speed and carelessness of drivers. Malmesbury should care more for the safety of its residents than the daily fast passage of through traffic.

-We will not see our residents isolated. -We will not see our residents miss vital hospital appointments due to a lack of transport options to the hospital. We will not see our village's businesses starved of footfall and custom due to isolation brought about by these changes.

Every year on 28th April, all around the world the trade union movement and worker organisations unite to mark International Workers Memorial Day (#IWMD). We remember those who lost their lives at work, or from work-related injury and diseases. We renew our efforts to organise collectively to prevent more deaths, injuries and disease as a result of work. This plaque would be the first of its kind in Liverpool dedicated to ALL workers who have lost their lives because of work. It would provide a central meeting point in Liverpool on each and every 28th April where people gather to remember lost loved ones and work colelagues & renew the IWMD pledge. It`s a no-brainer really, with a hot water cylinder you can have free hot water for most on the year. In around 2015 a report said that photovoltaic panels on the rooftops of private houses has out performed the coal fired power stations. Not long after Boris was PM another report said panels on domestic roofs had out performed all other methods, including nuclear for energy generartion. I wrote to Boris and the then energy minister but nothing came of it. Now we need clean, own generated energy. It`s time for the public to join this cause and tell the energy minister and the wider Government where they should be putting our hard earned tax money.
