The reduction in opening hours has led to very long queues and waiting times. It is punishing those people who are trying to recycle and dispose of household waste responsibly. Making it more difficult to use the recycling centre will undoubtedly worsen the existing problem of fly tipping in the area.

Most dog owners ALWAYS pick up their mess, and as local beach walkers we notice just how much mess HUMANS leave on the beach. We've found everything from needles to nappies. So this mass blaming of dogs as a reason to exclude them from our beaches is nonsense. And as for 'harmful diseases' - kids with dogs have better immune systems than those who don't! Or take a gander at your local water quality and see what's REALLY bringing it down... If you are a dog owners, you'll know that the beach is the best place for your dog. It's the one place they can run for miles, play with other friends, go for a dip in the sea and just be DOG! While your dog is cooped up indoors, their ONLY thought is "when do we go outside again?". As humans we find this strange, but remember, you and your 'walkies' are the only thing that little dude or dudette has in this world. Just think about that for a second. Now, let them run free!!

At UFC 78, he became the first British fighter to compete in a UFC main event. At UFC 199, he became the first British fighter to win a UFC Championship and he remains the sole British winner of a UFC title. He was inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame on July 5, 2019. Bisping transcended the sport of MMA and took up acting. He has starred in such movies as 'xXx: The Return of Xander Cage', starring alongside Vin Diesel, and as the infamous Roy "Pretty Boy" Shaw in 'My Name Is Lenny'. He even had a small role in David Lynch's 'Twin Peaks'. Michael Bisping has established himself as one of the most successful and longest tenured fighters in UFC history while also becoming a pioneer for MMA in the United Kingdom. He is an inspiration for young fighters around the country and this should be recognised with a knighthood. All hail The Count!

To tackle lack of fitness and obesity in school children. This would assist greatly in the health of the nation. When I was at prep school in the 1950s we had a PE session every day before lessons. As a result all the children in the school had a basic level of fitness which stood them in good stead for the future. There were very few obese or overweight children at our school. Some of this was probable diet but exercise is hugely important for health.

Crow Lane Post Office provides invaluable services to residents, particularly the elderly and disadvantaged. The next nearest Post Office will be a bus journey away which is unacceptable for elderly, disabled and vulnerable people. As well as the cost of the bus ticket, the time and inconvenience, some will not be able to make bus journeys due to ill health and this will place a heavy burden on our community. There is a large population of elderly people living close to Crow Lane specifically for the convenience of the shops and particularly the Post Office. Badgers are a key species in our British ecosystem and one of the most recognisable and best loved mammals in the English countryside. Native to this land, they have lived alongside humans for thousands of years. More recent intensive farming practices have placed enormous pressure on local wildlife, including badgers who are consistently solely blamed for the spread of bovine TB. Offering a bounty for the culling of these animals, infected or not, will have a massive impact on their numbers and put at even greater risk the fragile balance of our environment. A scientific study from 2010 suggests that "badger culling is unlikely to contribute effectively to the control of cattle TB in Britain".

The cancellation of bus routes will leave many without any public transport to do the very basics like visiting a doctor, getting to school, or picking up groceries. Without this bus service the most vulnerable in our society will face social isolation, difficulty accessing work, and expensive taxi fares. I have spoken to a woman who uses a bus to visit her 90 year old father. She doesn't know how he'll manage if she can't visit him to help with his meals and cleaning. Another woman in Wilbarston relies upon the 67 bus to see her grandchildren and attend regular GP appointments in Corby - without the bus, she'll be left isolated or face paying £17 for a taxi each way. Northamptonshire County Council have a duty to protect the young, the elderly and other vulnerable groups - cutting these services and leaving these groups isolated, without public access to the most essential services is not right or fair.

ALL carbs end up as sugar in our blood. To concentrate solely on 'sugars' (traffic-lighting) is misleading (and in some cases cruel) to many who strive for a healthy diet for themselves and their families. Clearly showing total carbs will help diabetics avoid serious complications. It may even guide the food industry to make ever better changes to prepared food. There is a growing low-carb movement (not just diabetics) as people are becoming aware of the links to weight management and other significant health benefits. Diabetes is the leading cause of blindness in the UK (I am reg blind as a result of diabetes retinopathy) and reading the carb value can be difficult enough (even for those with great vision) as the writing is often so tiny. In most cases I end up taking a picture so I can then zoom in. This is very frustrating.

Airport Security scanning is recognised as an essential part of safety for passengers. It is also a ‘Mandatory’ process. All Passengers must place their valuables in multiple trays on conveyer belts and they do so trusting that their belongings will be safe in the Security Processes. It is reasonable that they should believe this, as there is no alternative and one can refuse security scans if they want to fly, and rightly so. However, this is not a voluntary process. It is enforced. Therefore, it should be mandatory that all Security staff ensure all items are protected and controlled during the whole checking process, then safely returned to their owners. Passengers do not expect their items to be at risk of theft when they place these items into the trays and into the hands of the Security staff. Nor do passengers feel they can challenge anyone if, in all too frequent situations of peak passenger flow, they suspect these items will be at risk by complying to these regulations. It is wholy unfair and unacceptable that this is happening and is causing undue stress for passengers and it is an open invitation to criminals. As seen in current media articles. These items should be safe and the current process unacceptable.

Seven Hills pool has only been open for 5 years & is unique in its offering, catering for the children of Sheffield & surrounding areas who have SEN needs. Their hydropool is one of few in the area & very important to the children that use it, helping with movement & pain relief. The pool also offers swimming lessons to children locally & is well used. Following talks with the local council, Seven Hills school propose to close this important facility to replace it with a gym which would be of very little use to the children. They state they cannot afford to keep the pool even though the swim school have offered to contribute financially & make up any difference. Please help us save our swimming pool.
