Coventry does not need to build on Green Belt and Warwick DC does not need to build homes for Coventry - Coventry must correct the population data, as the cabinet member for finance, John Mutton, admitted on BBC CWR. On 26 Nov 17, he wrote to local people, "We are well aware of the STUPID NUMBERS that the Office of National Statistics instructed us to use in relation to the number of houses required" The Coventry Local Plan, on which Councilors will vote on 5 Dec 17, will determine where houses go for the next 14 years. Coventry Council has used absurdly high numbers which no one, including experts, believes in. The Council predict that the city will grow twice as fast as any other town in the region - 2x Birmingham, 3x Warwick, and 4x Stratford. Is that possible when jobs growth in Coventry has been mediocre? We can have the homes our children really need and keep our countryside. Building on Green Belt at Keresley, Eastern Green, and Kings Hill will destroy the beautiful Forest of Arden landscape which inspired Shakespeare's 'A Midsummer Night's Dream'. Putting a 'Brownfield First' policy into the local plan, will stop unneeded building on Green Belt, unless it is absolutely necessary.

Kweku Adoboli moved to the UK 26 years ago, at the age of 12, and has lived here ever since. The Home Office is aggressively trying to deport him to Ghana, away from the country he calls home and his closest friends. Kweku is now facing imminent removal from the UK after his submission of a Judicial Review of the Home Office’s treatment of his case was expedited at their request. Permission to apply for the Judicial Review was denied this week. Kweku urgently needs your help. In 2011, Kweku accepted responsibility for a large trading loss at Swiss Investment Bank UBS. Whilst he was cleared of the majority of charges against him, it was clear his actions had nothing to do with trying to achieve personal financial gain. He served his sentence as a model prisoner and for the last three years has been doing outstanding work of benefit both to industry and community. Convicted of a finance offence, posing no threat to his society, Kweku faces the draconian double punishment of being deported from the UK. The consequences of his removal to Ghana are severe and will include a potential lifetime ban on travelling not just back to the UK, but to Europe, North America and many other countries. Given the frequency of organisational scandals in recent years, Kweku's story offers a powerful and relevant living case study. Through his work, Kweku is challenging senior leaders and organisations to go beyond stereotypes of 'bad apples' to consider how context and environment shape decision making. Kweku is in a unique position to do this but is being prevented from doing so by the Home Office. Genuinely thoughtful, honest and open conversations about difficult issues are crucial to public life. Unfortunately, very few people are willing or able to do this. It is important not to deport Kweku not just for the fact that he is more British than foreign, but because his work is of value to the public interest.

Fitzalan Square suffers from poor air quality due to traffic pollution. The London Plane trees are particularly effective at removing pollutants from traffic-heavy areas like this in the city centre. The trees are one of the few things of beauty in a Square currently noted for its ugly betting shops, proliferation of litter and intrusive advertising boards. The trees provide a great deal of biodiversity to the square including birds and insects which would be lost despite the planting of new saplings. The Tree Condition survey, written by the Council's tree manager, states "Removal of these four trees will have a significant impact on the immediate area. The city centre has the lowest percentage tree cover in Sheffield and there are relatively few large trees within the area. Visually, the trees provide a natural living feature that helps to soften the harsh lines of the existing built environment. The trees play an important role in trapping and removing pollutants from the surrounding air as well as providing dappled shade for users of the square. The canopies also help to break up wind movement that may otherwise funnel between the buildings. All four trees are well established with a significant potential longevity. The Kirby Misperton Protection Camp (KMPC) has been invaluable in our community’s struggle against fracking, now we stand to protect it! The camp was set up last December after the community lost a high court appeal to prevent Third Energy from fracking on the edge of our village. The camp acts as a community hub, its a place where we can go and seek support, information and share ideas. It also hosts events such as family fun days, solidarity weekends, know your rights workshops, legal observer training and a retreat. The camp is also home to some of the newer members of our community and offers a place to stay for campaigners with bigger distances to travel. The fracking of the KM8 well is putting our villages directly in harms way, but we also recognise that we are on the frontline of England’s struggle against the fracking industry. Fracking in Kirby Misperton is a local issue of national importance. All protest involves a level of disruption, but neither we nor the camp support any kind of violent or abusive behavior. As local residents we are grateful to friends who have made the choice to live so sacrificially to join our struggle. As such we welcome KMPC and the support from protectors around the country.

There have been two major accidents on this stretch of the A6 in the past few weeks - so severe that air ambulances were required. Drivers routinely speed on this narrow stretch of road, a hazard which is exacerbated suicidally by their tendency to use the right-hand turning reservation into Park Lane (MK44 1LX) for overtaking, and the almost total lack of visibility from the Templars Way junction (MK44 1PZ) leftward, owing to vegetation and crash barriers, when trying to cross the dual carriageway to turn right. In addition, supercar events and similar gatherings at the Sharnbrook Hotel regularly result, despite the hotel's best efforts in putting up warning signage and safety tape, in fast cars using this stretch of the A6 (as well as surrounding residential roads) as their personal racetrack. There *will* be death on this stretch of road if the relevant agency does not act decisively to slow the traffic down and to ensure that those who persist in driving irresponsibly are systematically caught, fined, and, if necessary, banned.

In Royal Wootton Bassett, GP provision is significantly worse than the national average. Many residents have experienced long waiting times for an appointment, or have had to travel to Malmesbury or Swindon for an appointment. Our GP surgeries urgently need more funding so that they can recruit more doctors, provide a wider range of health services to the community and ensure that they can fund the treatments that patients need. We are likely to face a very real crisis in the NHS this winter.

This urgently needs to be questioned and stopped in its tracks before this motion to take away more disabled peoples human rights through the removal of their rights to make decisions for themselves away. The person who knows most about what is best for themselves is they themselves. It seems that this government wants to remove those rights and thus take more and more control of disabled peoples rights from them and families and to place this in the hands of those who have no knowledge or care for those people. My own son was bruised and abused in a care placement he is now returned home to me on these grounds that he should have the right to decide for himself where he wants to live and be cared for. The more we allow the rights of vulnerable people to be removed from the family and chosen placements without their own rights being taken into account. We are then moving further into a controlled state without knowledge or recognition of this, as we fail to be alert to what is being passed through parliament and thus we unwittingly allow this to affect the rights the vulnerable, of families, children, the elderly and the disabled. How we treat our vulnerable and disabled is a measure of who and what we are as a society. Nobody knows what will happen to any one of us and we must remain vigilant so we too do not lose our rights to chose what happens to us as we grow older. This has to be a worldwide protest for all rights to be recognised, even though it begins in the UK parliment. It begins here and we have to make sure that ending the rights of vulnerable people ends here.

This bunker is a part of UK history and to be sold on is an insult to those who fought in the war. Not to mention the educational values the bunker could have had if the council invested rather than flogging to make some cash quick. What gives them the right to sell history at the drop of a hat.
