ADHD testing for all offenders
I want every person entering a UK prison to be routinely tested for ADHD.
Why is this important?
This is important because I am a counsellor specialising in working with young offenders. I have found that 75% of my clients are either diagnosed ADHD but not medicated or completely undiagnosed but showing strong traits of ADHD. When I have recommended people to seek professional assessment every single one has been diagnosed ADHD. This is shocking.
