Arsenal Ladies end Il Makiage sponsorship
Il Makiage is an Israeli company with its head office in Tel Aviv. While Israel is violating the interim measures imposed upon it by the International Court of Justice and is also on trial for "plausible" genocide it is offensive that our beloved football club is linked, by sponsorship, to Israel. We demand that this partnership be ended immediately.
Why is this important?
There is a worldwide boycott of Israeli products and companies until Israel ends its genocide and ethnic cleansing of Palestinian people, over 100,000 people have been killed, injured and maimed, so far. Also the illegal occupation of Palestine must finally end after over 50 years. To be linked with Israel or an Israeli company, at this time, is offensive to many and is highly controversial and insensitive.
