B1 English test should last forever
They should make sure once you pass your B1 English test in listening and speaking for settlement, the pass certificate should be allowed to use to apply for naturalisation.
Currently, the pass certificate has two years life span before it expires. If you don't apply for the naturalisation within two years of getting your settlement/indefinite leave to remain, you still have to do the test again before you can do naturalisation.
I find this absurd, how could someone that can speak English fluently and correctly two to three years back to pass the exam would not be able to do same now.

Why is this important?
Taking more money from people that are already struggling to live well all in the name of immigration status is unfair on people. I see this as exploitation.
