Ban Disposable Barbecues permanently

Permanently ban disposable barbecues from sale

Why is this important?

Banning disposable barbeques would help tackle accidental wildfires and reduce littering and waste.

Every year, thousands of disposable barbecues are abandoned in the countryside, damaging the environment and starting wildfires that potentially destroy huge areas of moorland, heaths and woodland.

Disposable barbecues are totally unnecessary, and are used by a small proportion of people; but cause a disproportionate amount of damage and cost to the public purse.

Retailers should ban all disposable barbeques from it's stores across the UK as soon as possible to help avoid any further damage caused by these products.

That's why we are calling on the "big 4" supermarkets, Tesco, Sainsburys, Asda and Morrisons to follow Marks and Spencer, Aldi and Waitrose lead and issue a complete ban and do the right thing.
