Ban Electroconvulsive Therapy

Dear Representative,
In light of the ongoing reports of continually damaging side effects of ECT, as presented in personal accounts from innocent victims of this standardised NHS medical procedure, I hereby ask for this 'treatment' to be recalled, banned and withdrawn from all recommended guidelines.
Please help us as a society to move forward positively, with more holistic and safer treatments for mental health, leaving behind damaging, injurous, harmful techniques which are not always reliable as useful treatment.
Thank you for your consideration.

Why is this important?

It is imperative that we come together to especially advocate for the human right of choice in care and on behalf of those who have suffered the injurious torture and harmful after affects of; seizures, memory loss, loss of cognition, confusion and sickness. We ask that this procedure is discontinued.
