Brexit negotiations on behalf of everyone
Brexit affects everyone. It should not be negotiated on behalf of everyone by two political parties which represent less than half the UK. A Brexit negotiating team should be formed which includes other representatives especially from the Labour Party but also, through some consultative means, the SNP, Plaid Cymru and the LibDems.
Why is this important?
48% people voted to remain in the EU. In the 2017 election 42% voted Conservative and 40% Labour. In Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales there are other parties and other views on Brexit. It's everyone's future.
