To make standing in the general election fair for ALL British citizens. Standing as a candidate in General Election should be AVAILABLE to ALL BRITISH CITIZENS not only for PARTY CANDIDATES and the financially WELL OFF. This AVAILABILITY can ONLY be made possible if the £500 DEPOSIT IS ABOLISHED.

Why is this important?

MOST would be INDEPENDENT CANDIDATES stay away from STANDING in General Election because they can't afford the DEPOSIT. This deprives the Democratic function in Britain from many brilliant capable candidates.
