BUILD SOCIAL HOUSING NOW!!!
Build new social housing.
Why is this important?
As a nation, we are in a housing crisis!!!
We just don't have enough housing and although some building is happening, I have not heard of any of them being social!
Affordable housing is happening in places but is still beyond the poorest in society and this includes families with two working parents!!!!
We need social housing NOW!!!! We need to get families out of private rental to save the excessive money used by councils to make up the shortfall in rent, to stop private land lords profiting from the governments poor housing planning for decades, and get everyone the houses they need/deserve!
Use the money saved in rent on social care, mental health care and help the very weakest in society to get shelter too!!!!!!
