Don't cut vital support for disabled people in Cardiff

Oppose the planned cuts to Personal Independence Payments.

Why is this important?

George Osborne has announced plans to take £70 a week away from thousands of people with disabilities, by cutting Personal Independence Payments (PIP). For many of us, this will mean losing the crucial support which enables us to get out of the house.

Many people in our area would be hit hard by this cut. For me this will mean a total loss of independence as I will no longer be able to afford transport to get out and about. I won't be able to afford replacement parts for my aids or new aids as my conditions deteriorate. My diet will suffer as I won't be able to afford the specialist food I need, which isn't available at food banks. I already can't afford care at home to help me washing, dressing, cleaning my flat, preparing and eating meals, socialising, accessing education and taking part in my community.

This petition calls on our local MP to do all they can to stop this cruel and unfair plan.

Please, show your support for local people with disabilities and help stop the cuts to PIP.
