Force government to act on missing and abused refugee children
Unaccompanied and traumatised children are being held in “temporary” Home Office-run hotel accommodation in the UK, and have been reported as abused and mistreated by staff. Over a hundred have disappeared. These are among the most vulnerable people in the world, and we are failing them on an epic and shameful level. We need to force the government to provide proper, safe shelter and support for these children immediately, and mount a nationwide hunt for the missing children.
Why is this important?
How can we sit and allow this to happen in our name? These children have already experienced untold trauma and we are failing and endangering them. What have we come to as a country when we allow this to happen?
