Freeze water shareholder payouts
The water companies have admitted they are at fault over sewage discharges into our waters over many years.
In those years they have paid inappropriately high shareholder dividends and executive bonuses.
To reclaim some of this I propose a Government imposed freeze on dividends and bonuses until the £10 billion they claim is needed to fix the problem is used for the investment they should have made in the last decade.

Why is this important?
Its important to reduce sewage in our waters.
It is also important that we prevent privatised water companies yet again abusing their monopoly by charging the consumer to fix the problem they created
