Get Penketh Pool open again
Our community pool has been forced to close like so many other buildings up and down the country due to the coronavirus.
However as public buildings, restaurants and other leisure centres with pools have become covid secure, it's been 161 days Penketh Pool remains closed and 40 days since it was officially allowed to re open. Despite attempted communications from the public, there has been no communication or update from the Parish council.
We, as a community expect and demand an explanation as to why the pool management and the chair of the parish council have failed to open the facilities in a timely manner and request when this will be done.

Why is this important?
The pool is a community asset and it is used to teach our children to swim and to provide classes for mental health, wellbeing and other exercise. Teaching people to swim, SAVES LIVES
