Take steps to ensure that UK citizens who are living in EU countries will not suffer if the UK takes the legal steps to withdraw from the EU

Why is this important?

Because there are many UK residents in EU countries at a time when there is uncertainty following the Brexit vote of 23rd June 2016. My brother is one of them, but I know many others as friends and acquaintances.
