Keep on Playing

We are petitioning to re-open the original location of the adventure playground, a safe place for disabled children to go and socialise with others the same age and meet new people. It recently got closed down due to lack of funding, it is now owned by the council because the cost to run and sustain the playground was too high. The staff and parents of the children and young people who attend the playground are currently hiring out local village halls and rooms the hold their activities, solely so the young people do not miss out on the time they would've had at the playground.

Why is this important?

It enables young people with disabilities to socialise with other young people who may suffer from similar difficulties. The playground offers a range different activities which helps the young people with social skills. It is a charity close to home which is in great need of our help and that it what we intend to do..
