Keep our public loos!
We have lost hundreds of public loos as local councils have closed them to save money. There is no legal obligation to provide them. It's time to change this. Legislate to keep open existing facilities and also make it a requirement that all shops and restaurants that have toilets allow anyone to use them. This has already happened in some other countries (see BBC news website for more information) and works well so why not here?
Why is this important?
I'm sure many people reading this have been in a situation where they have needed a loo and there is nothing nearby. Also the health and hygiene implications of public having to go in the street. Let's get the government to listen and take action.
