Live music at the crown
Dear sirs,
Recently I have been made aware that The Crown in askern have been refused the right to carry on with monthly live music events due to complaints, I'd like to show you that the majority of residents enjoy the music, they creates a community event, helps local businesses and various charities with these events.
The last one was run between 6:30pm and 9pm on a Saturday which I do not feel is unreasonable and the signatures attached will show the same, the majority of the village are behind the crown 100%.
I think in this instance the majority should take priority, The Crown are doing everything in their power to make the events as little a inconvenience as possible with the times and days they held, they are also advertised a long time in advance so everyone is aware when they will be happening.
