Make wearing face masks in Parliament compulsory

The Government policy on wearing face masks in shops is based on the fact that shops are visited by a variety of people who may or may not be from the same area, this is also true of Parliament and Government policy on face mask wearing should be reflected in Parliament as it is visited by people from all over the United Kingdom who could pass on COVID -19 to any constituents, friends, relatives or professionals they meet on returning to their constituency.

Why is this important?

This petition for policy change to enforce the wearing of face masks in Parliament is important because not wearing them poses the same risk of harm to members of the public as not wearing them in shops does.
