Generators of energy, sellers of energy, benefit from our consumption, It is estimated that perhaps 30%-40% of all electrical energy used is for lighting in winter. Generators use nuclear, oil, gas and coal, the dirty carbons and dangerous fuels to, provide us with the energy we need. Until the world is using renewables alone, we need to reduce our consumption. Incandescent lighting is unnecceassry there ae sound alternates for lighting i.e. LED's that are simple to switch to and last longer.
