National Museum Of Ethnic British History

In the USA they have a Museum of Black History which is huge! It's in Washington and is part of the Smithsonian (which was opened by Quincy Jones and Barack Obama) . It's about time we had a Museum or place where anyone can see the great impact different ethnicities have had on our culture, this is vital in our country. We need something that show us the contributions that make us modern Britain. Our music, our carnivals, our food, and our culture has all been influenced by all who have come and made it home.

Why is this important?

It would also be a useful in the education of school children throughout the country, as well as depicting Britains dark history within the slave trade and the factories and production of goods during the Industrial revolution and our colonial past. It can also educate the nation on how
cultures have changed British food, tastes , music and fashion. It's about time there was a place that educated people about this.
