No privatisation of Herts Police
Withdraw police powers from private security staff at Stevenage Leisure Park. G4S has consistently proven they are incapable of undertaking security or law enforcement services. Police powers should only be available to trained police constables operating directly under the control of the Chief Constable. This action will lead to confusion for members of the public and is likely to reflect poorly on Hertfordshire Constabulary. Pleas reconsider this folly and withdraw these powers.
