Not all disabilities are visible
For the govenment to Look into the recognised sign for disabled, that has a wheelchair user on. Not all people with a disability have to use a wheelchair. Often people with disabilities are looked down on, judged and tutted at for something as simple as using a disabled toilet as we are not in a wheelchair.our need for the use can be as important. It needs to be recognised with a different sign.
Why is this important?
To change public perception of disabled people and what it actually means. For none wheelchair users not to be or feel judged as we may look able bodied. To also raise awearness of disabilities and that not all of them are visible but just as worthy. Also for a new sign to state this.
