Put a register in place for when compulsive gamblers self exclude, it flags up to all sites and gambling establishments.
Why is this important?
It is important because I went from being a responsible person who had never gambled, to losing my home my job and all my self respect. This awful disease found me late in life and the devastation it caused is unimaginable, my fear is for the younger generation, they are growing up thinking it is normal to gamble on phones, iPads etc 24/7.
It is the new crack cocaine of our generation.
These sites produce slots that are addictive and hypnotic and they don't care how much they take from you.
I am not saying that everyone who uses these sites become addicts, but for the many that do, it is devastating.
Please help me to try and stop more people having to go through the horror of what I went through.
