My two sons now 9 years and 7 years were born in the UK. The older one is a few months away from British nationality but we the parents have still to wait for two more visa extensions of 2-1/2 years each incurring nearly £6000 each extension.
Such parents should also be given nationality when their children are recognised as British nationals.
Why is this important?
This will give parents peace of mind, stability and save hard earned money for the future of their children or utilising that money in other productive use.
