Petition for a school crossing on sands lane lowestoft
I live on Sands Lane with a child that attends the Oulton Broad Primary School. There is no lollypop lady/man or a crossing for the children that attend this school to cross safety. The traffic at this time of day is very busy and no-one seems to stop to let people cross. Today (23/03/2022) there was a two car pile on just around the corner from the school. This petition asks for a crossing so our children can get to and from school safely, without fear of them possibly being hurt in the process.
Why is this important?
As a concerned parent I want something put in place for not only my child but other children to get to school safely without the fear of getting hurt by drivers who don't stop to let them cross the road before and after school. I want something done to protect our children
