Please don't demolish Park House, Crosby

We respectfully request that you reconsider the decision to demolish Park House, Crosby and the surrounding grounds of open greenspace and bluespace that has graced the area since 1870. We have a preferred purchaser that would not only refurbish the entire site, but would work with our group to cover your costs to date should you wish to sell to our commercial civic restorer.

Why is this important?

Park House has been a community landmark for over 150 years with a deep-rooted history spanning from Crosby and Waterloo's original settlement from marshland to the districts that they are today.

Be it the detailed Italianate design of the structure, the role it has played in modern-day Catholic faith or simply the medical influence on so many people's lives across the Sefton Borough and beyond, there are a host of diverse reasons to preserve this community asset.

It can be universally accepted that an alternative use for the site as proposed by our preferred purchaser would definitively bolster efforts to reduce an extreme release of carbon into the atmosphere if demolition and deforestation were to proceed.
