Protect forests from commercial exploitation
Reverse the 2012 decision which allows Forest Holidays to build luxury chalets and all the surrounding infrastructure in publicly owned forest.
Remove the "duty to help bypass regulations" which requires that the Forestry Commission supports planning applications by Forest Holidays, in which it has a 14% share.
(Forest Holidays are currently attempting to build in Mortimer Forest near Ludlow.)

Why is this important?
Forests are a crucial habitat for wildlife. Britain has the lowest amount of woodland per acre of anywhere in Europe; we should be protecting our forests, not building holiday parks in them.
