To recall Parliament with immediate effect so that the Government's performance in the Covid-19 crisis can be properly scrutinised by select committees.
Why is this important?
We are in the middle of arguably the greatest national crisis since the Second World War.
In a Democracy it is only right that Government should be answerable to and accountable to the democratically-elected representatives of the people of the United Kingdom.
Much of the Government's handling of the crisis has been subject to controversy. When strategic decisions affect whether people live or die, the Government's decisions must be scrutinised by Parliament to ensure that they are making the best decisions possible.
