RELOCATE POLLING STATION IN LECKHAMPTON
Parents at Leckhampton CofE Primary School represent a significant number of electors in the constituency. The Returning Officer is under a duty to meet the reasonable requirements of the electorate. This petition calls for the Polling Station to be relocated.
Why is this important?
Hosting a Polling Station at Leckhampton CofE Primary School raises safeguarding issues, places school staff under additional pressure, creates more administration and disrupts the school day. The school could close to overcome these issues but this would be unnecessary if an alternative location (such as Leckhampton Village Hall or Glebe Cottages, St Peter's Leckhampton) was used as a Polling Station.
