Remove filibustering from Parliament with 'Just a Minute' rules.
To remove the time-wasting technique of filibustering The House of Commons should introduce the rules of 'Just a Minute' - no repetition, hesitation or deviation from the subject of the debate. Immediately replace John Bercow with Nicholas Parsons as the Speaker in the Lower House to ensure fair, balanced and erudite chairing with added panache!
Why is this important?
Filibustering is an unfair tactic used against the spirit of democracy in Parliament. Just a Minute rules would make debates much more fair, democratic and and entertaining, and encourage many more people to take an active interest in politics.
