To: Heathlane academy

Remove the compulsory requirement for a skirt only logo from heathlane academy uniform.

Heathlanes new merged uniform includes a compulsory logo on the skirt. Only available from 1 supplier.trousers do not require a logo.

The school has said they believe this to be fair. As all items of uniform are open to both genders.

Girls can wear trousers. However if they wish to wear a skirt they need to buy an ill fitting premium priced logod skirt. I am campigning for the logo requirement to be removed from skirts.

Why is this important?

I believe this is an unfair and unneeded cost. And mildly sexist despite the boys apparebtly being able to wear skirts.

We also tried to get the logo added to less expensive skirts to be told this is not allowed.

**we are awaiting a response to being allowed to add the logo to an identical skirt ourselves, this of course involves us sourcing the skirt, digitising the logo and having it embroidered, however i do believe this will be cheaper and find a better fit, not ideal but a tiny step forward**
