Respect for Tenants
I live in a leasehold property, a 1st floor flat. the RTM (right to manage company) should manage the properties for the landlord and also look after the interests of the Tenants.
The RTM spends the fees and take decisions without consulting the Tenants.
I have contacted the LAS Leasehold Advisory Service and the Financial Ombudsman but the RTM has to be a member of their voluntary scheme for them to act, if you have any complaints as to how the RTM is operated, and if the RTM is not a member of a scheme they just don't act on your complaints and do as they wish.
I wish for it to be compulsory for RTM's to join a scheme so there is some redress.

Why is this important?
This must affect a large number of tenants in the UK and they have no way of resolving their issues, other than using very expensive commercial Lawyers
