We call upon the government to recognise the service of Sara Rowbotham to the children of this nation by naming her in the New Year honours list for an MBE
Why is this important?
Sara worked tirelessly to expose child sexual exploitation in Greater Manchester. Despite being ignored by children's services and police she carried on collecting evidence trying to get people in power to listen. Her work lead to the conviction of a vicious paedophile network and continues to be important evidence in ongoing investigations. This work took a huge toll on Sara so we believe it is right and proper that she is recognised by the state.
