SAVE CRAWLEY'S HISTORIC MOSAIC
Find a suitable new home for this much loved part of Crawley's history that a Crawley resident found dumped with a wheelie bin & an old fridge; Crawley Borough Council say it is 'being stored outside.'& that they have no plans to re home it! At present it is just rotting away! There are numerous places it could be put in the town where residents & visitors alike could enjoy it! The Hawth theatre is one suggestion as the mosaic depicts scenes from Alice in Wonderland.
Why is this important?
It is important because it is a unique part of our town's history which many of us remember fondly! It is a work of art & is an insult to the artist who made it to just let it rot! Much of Crawley has been destroyed already!
