Save Langdale Wood

Please vote against Proposal 16/01771/FUL for 50 lodges and a reception building in Langdale Wood.

Why is this important?

This proposed development in Langdale Wood will have a huge impact on trees, tree roots and vegetation, plus great disturbance to many birds, butterflies and other insects. It will greatly reduce the amount of woodland available for local families to enjoy and add to the traffic problems at Blackmore Park Road.

There is no evidence that this development will bring any additional significant benefit to Malvern but may have a negative impact on existing accommodation providers and local camp sites as well as damaging and reducing the Woodland.

Please support our campaign to get this development halted and protect our Malvern woodland.

Thanks so much for your support! We now have 1253 signatures and are lining up panel members for the public meeting at 7pm on the 7th December at Hanley Castle Village Hall. We will be in touch soon to let you know the date that Malvern Hills District Council are voting on this proposed development so that you can contact your local counsellor with your objection to this "for profit" attack on our beautiful woodland. Our campaigners are almost ready to post the "Save Langdale Wood" objection to the development, which is a detailed rebuttal of the planning application amalgamated by all of your comments and objections.
