Save Lea Bridge Road bus stop
The bus stop on Lea Bridge Road, east of Lea Bridge roundabout is heavily used albeit even now at some distance from the roundabout. TfL and Hackney council are planning to move it 110m to the east, adjacent to Millfields Park, to facilitate a bike lane.
This will make catching the bus and interchange far worse for passengers and mean waiting in or being dropped at a more isolated location further from their destination.
This is unacceptable and we call on TfL and Hackney to withdraw this proposal.

Why is this important?
Please join this campaign and stop TfL disregarding the needs of passengers here and elsewhere on the basis of no evidence. Cyclists get injured at junctions, not bus stops and there are bus stop designs that are safe for cyclists given the right training.
