Scrap Foreign Office perks

Stop using taxpayer money to fund private school fees for Foreign Office staff

Why is this important?

Taxpayers have subsidised £13m worth of private school fees. This is because of a Foreign Office perk that allows diplomats to claim back UK boarding school fees. During a cost of living crisis, these kinds of perks are shocking.

With the Government failing to tackle NHS waiting lists and train strikes, why can’t diplomats send their children to state schools or pay for private schools themselves?

Rishi Sunak needs to win back public favour for his Government and tackle the issues we’re all facing. A massive petition telling them to stop spending our taxes on perks and use the £13m for our NHS and other public services instead could convince them to scrap this policy.
