Senior Cooking Class
Allow our Senior and elderly Cooking Class to continue throughout the year 2019 . We are unique in our county and in others also , the class is unique . Many have lost their partners and need to cook for themselves . If the class were cancelled completely then the cost might be passed on to Social Services budget , the medical services , our hospital services might see many cost them unnecessary assistance and funding .
Why is this important?
A very successful cooking class for the elderly was set up some 2 years ago and has a list of folks wishing to join the class . But apparently a decision was taken to cancel any future classes , although after some pressure they decided to allow us to have one class before the end of December 2018 .
