Stop Ipswich hospital reducing staff car parking
Ipswich hospital nhs trust are massively reducing the number of on site staff car parking spaces at the hospital. The estate and facilities department at Ipswich hospital have released a letter to inform staff of the changes 10 days before they come into effect - the majority of staff feel this is totally unacceptable.
Why is this important?
Not only do staff already have to pay to park at work they are now expected to park a 20 minute walk away from the hospital. This will mean members of staff walking often alone in the dark and cold/wet weather to their cars before and after a 12 hour shift.
