Strict export licencing laws
I want the courts of this country to decide if exporting arms to a foreign country would be allowed under a new primary piece of legislation that mandates strict observance to humanitarian principles if the weapons are used in the course of a conflict.
Why is this important?
It's a matter of preserving life and if you believe that the right to life is so important, then it's absolutely essential that we make sure sovereign states fulfil their responsibilities to, as far as possible, honour this time-honoured right.
