To: petrol actually costs about 83p a Litre So if the cost of a Litre as it is now is £2 the government is taking appx £1.17p in fuel duty WHY

TAX BY GOVERNMENT ON PETROL 65% + vat

Please explain to me why this government is not helping motorists by cutting fuel duty people think the vast profits made by petrol companies should be curbed and petrol prices reduced but the government takes more off the motorist than the petrol companies.

Why is this important?

WELL IF PETROL PRICES CONTINUE TO RISE AS THEY ARE DOING THE GOVERNMENT TAKES MORE AND MORE AS A % SO WHY ARE THEY NOT HELPING. MPS ARE NOT BOTHERED AS THEY RECEIVE SUBSIDIES FOR MOST THINGS. SO BADGER YOUR LOCAL MP AD ASK HIM WHY FUEL DUTY IS NOT CUT.
