Traffic lights at junctions
The traffic light junctions at Ocean Terminal and at Great Junction St/Cables Wynd/Bonnington Road are both dangerous when turning right.
A ‘turn right’ filter green light is urgently needed at both.

Why is this important?
This will make them safer and prevent frustration, risk-taking and accidents. At present you can only turn right when the lights change briefly to amber. This is particularly dangerous when the car facing you is also trying to turn right. If it’s a double decker bus, you can’t see what is driving up the inside lane so is even more dangerous.
There are plenty of turn-right filters in other parts of town so why not Leith?
