Regarding new proposed parking restriction along Whitehall Lane, Buckhurst Hill.
Most of The Holly Hospital staff are council tax paying residents of Epping Forest or Redbridge council and require access to parking in this area in order to be able to work here. Unfortunately it is becoming impossible to find any parking in the area including paid spaces. Some of the hospital staff are on minimum wage and in the present climate unable to afford transport charges. Due to the nature of Hospital work it is not always possible to use public transport and bicycles. We feel that the council is discriminating against the Hospital as it is one of the only major employers in this area.
Please reconsider these restrictions or alternative options
Why is this important?
If parking in Whitehall Lane and surrounding roads is prohibited as proposed, parking in the area will become a nightmare!
