Making sign language part of every child's experience will help to reduce the exclusion of deaf and speech impaired children and adults, but the benefits will be to all children e.g. on brain development, vocabulary, empathy and expressiveness and to society generally e.g. more inclusion, increased understanding between deaf and hearing communities and individuals.

CAMRA fully supports the production and availability of real ciders and perries. In many cases the proposed action would make small scale cider production uneconomic. This is wholly disproportionate given that a small producer selling up to 33 pints a day has no capacity to affect EU trade to any meaningful degree. The case for rejecting the request by the EU to tax small cider producers: - Someone producing less than 70hl (12,000 pints) will generally be making less than £10,000 a year in sales. This means the tax exemption only applies to very small businesses, such as hobbyists or farm-gate producers. If a duty were to be levied on these producers it would make their operations uneconomic and lead to wide-spread closure. - 80% of Britain’s 500+ cider makers are currently small producers. A tax will severely impact on consumer choice and will cause irreparable damage to one of the nation’s most historic industries. - An exemption from this duty is essential to supporting the growth of a vibrant but still small cider and perry market. - A tax charge of up to £2,700 would drive many small cider producers out of business costing jobs, harming the countryside and dramatically reducing consumer choice.

I have created this petition because I believe BSL should be taught as a language in school. My daughter was born profoundly deaf she is 11weeks old and I would love for her to grow up in a world where hearing people are more excepting and understanding of deaf people and deaf culture. Why should it be deaf people that have to struggle to lip read, be left confused when people around them are talking, risk major surgery to stand a chance of some hearing threw implants, when we could so easily fit into their world by learning to sign. Help make this happen, stand up for the deaf community, accept deaf people have a right to fit in and be understood. Make a better future for my daughter and all deaf children like her. Thank you.

Mary Street Parcel Office is in a convenient centrally located position. But Royal Mail intend to close the Mary Street Parcel Office and move all parcels to Wearfield, at Sunderland Enterprise Park, near Wessington Way. The Wearfield site it is more difficult to access by public transport. Many people will have to take 2 busses to reach it, and then walk to the new site. This will unfairly affect those without their own transport, as well as those with mobility issues including the elderly and those with disabilities affecting their mobility. The move will result in job losses. 5 out of 10 employees in Mary Street will loose their jobs. Staff are having to attend interviews for the remaining 5 jobs. On top of this there will be an environmental impact as customers are forced to have their parcels redirected rather than picking them up at their own convenience whilst already shopping in town. In order to cut costs Royal Mail are putting profit before people. Please sign the petition to let Royal Mail bosses know that the people of Sunderland demand the service that they are paying for and will not stand for the job losses or environmental impact caused by this unfair and ill considered move.

The clock is of LOCAL interest, being part of the bus station that served Weston super Mare since 1929 until it's demolition in the 1980's. The clock was then refurbished by and at the expense of Abbey National Homes with Weston Hoteliers Association and given to the people of Weston super Mare. The clock then stood on stilts on the seafront until the seafront was 'modernised' four years ago. Since then the clock has rotted away in an outside storage yard at Sandford.

Small producers plant and maintain orchards which contain traditional cider apple/perry pear varieties, these will be grubbed up because the production of artisan cider (or perry) will not be economically viable. The large producers will take over and reduce choice to the consumer. Local (and even national) varieties of cider apple will disappear.

Achievement Bute provides flexible individually tailored support to enable children with disabilities to participate in leisure activities of their choice and to support parents. They also run a range of inclusive regular clubs - events - holiday play-schemes and trips open to ALL children on the Isle of Bute. They provide a Counselling Service - parent support group - advocacy and an autism mentoring project. These nurseries are the foundation of our communities, our history and development. Some of these nurseries have been in our communities for over fifty years, giving 3 generations in some families of education with well trained, dedicated staff. These important years a child develops :- Physical development Cognitive development Emotional and social development Language development Sensory and motor development Not only will the development of the above be affective, but also the parents will be too. This will result in more mother's giving up work, because of childcare issues,and more people staying on benefits longer. Also the most vulnerable children in our society, `Children with Special Educational Needs` (SEN). Most of these children don't get a diagnosis until the problems are picked up at school, especially our nursery provision, as social and emotional disabilities don't begin to surface until a child starts school. There will be other issues effected by this, such as teacher's, LSAs and other support staff, including dinner and kichen staff all are at risk of job loss, reduction of hours and redundancies. Barbaric Sexual Assault In Vrindavan On February 24, 2015 At 7 AM, in broad daylight, 82-year-old Chandrika Devi Dasi was raped and robbed at Kesi-ghat, Vrindavan. Chandrika is from Russia. She is a saintly vaisnavi and has come to Vrindavan to pass the final years of her life. In her advanced age has performed Vrindavan Parikrama everyday for the past five years. On February 24th, as she passed through Kesi-ghat, two Indian men, approximately 20 years of age, approached from behind and pushed her to the ground. One of the men stole her parikrama bag and ran away. The other man climbed upon her chest and held her mouth to keep her from screaming, pulled his genital from his cloth and while sitting upon her to keep her from moving, masturbated and passed semen on her chest. After his climax he jumped up to run away and a large knife fell from his cloth. He quickly grabbed the weapon and ran. By Krishna’s blessings Chandrika Devi Dasi broke no bones when she fell. She is shocked and traumatised by the event. Though there were pujaris at the Kesi-ghat temple but they did nothing to help. From her shock, and feeling of shame, she did not report the event to the police on the day that it happened. On the second day when I was informed I instructed her to file a First Information Report with the local police. She did so on February 25, 2015 I reported the incident to our Vrindavan Temple President he sent his legal assistant to deal with the local police. By Krishna's grace the criminals were captured within two days and legal proceedings have been opened against them. But, as events go in India, unless noise is made, they will simply pay a bribe and be released. What if someone tried to rape your 82 year old mother. What would you do ?
