It's important that 1) systematic inequality based on gender, race, religion etc are exposed 2) that the public can be confident that everyone is paying their fair share of tax 3) that the media traditional and modern has access to information that may expose conflicts of interest among decision makers

This campaign is important because currently pub visitors have no idea that these devices are in use unless they peer over the bar and look for themselves. I moved up to near Edinburgh last year and hadn't heard Autovac (return trays) until a friend had mentioned them to me. He was always a bit of a joker so I naturally thought he was pulling my leg. However, a few weeks later a complete stranger whispered in my ear "I see you are drinking the warm recycled beer then...". It took me by surprise a bit and of course when I looked behind the bar I was horrified. The bar manager went into an explanation to try and convince me it was a good thing but this just doesn't sit well with me and if people are OK with this then that's up to them. It's often called Autovac, or return trays up here in Scotland. So far I have mainly discovered them in Edinburgh. Basically the drips that go normally go into a tray and get emptied out instead go back into the line and into the next pint. As previously described it's recycled beer and no matter how good staff training is there's an increased risk of contamination that is completely unnecessary in a modern pub. My position is this. I'm not trying to shut pubs, on the contrary, as a good friend said "There are good pubs in Edinburgh that could be a lot better". I'd like to see Autovac gone, but at the very least I'd like to see customers made aware they are in use. I had no idea and most people are surprised to hear they exist. With the exception of the tall fonts, the only way of knowing is to reach over the bar and have a look. Mandatory notification is the way forward I think and then customers can decide for themselves whether or not they are happy with the use of these devices. The Council are planning to demolishing this Historic community building. [1] Right now, the building is being used by various youth groups including Scouts and providing a vibrant local community hub. This historic building has been a school, a community centre, and seen generations of children use it and learn in it. CADW, the Welsh government body that conserve the heritage of Wales, are considering making the 122-year old Bodlondeb school a listed building. Over the years, numerous architects have been cautious to preserve the building as much as possible. An archeological report warns: “The impact of development would result in the loss of a heritage asset of at least local significance.” [2] We believe it would be a shame if the Council were to just demolish it. We, the undersigned, want to see future generations be given the same opportunities to use Bodlondeb school for community activities for all ages, from spinning classes to knitting. Middlewick is situated in Colchester Essex which is the first recorded town in England. The Government want the area to be be sold off for housing and local people who use the area for recreational use want this area to be protected. The local people have seen lots of species that are on the protection list including trees in the area and want to encourage more species to flourish in this area. it has great potential as a nature reserve especially as parts of the area are already protected. Local people also feel that more housing would cause problems in so many ways including poor air quality more crime and mental health problems as well as noting the area does not have the infrastructure to cope with more housing. It is so important to protect this land so that animals have a safe haven, and we can find out and learn about our heritage culture and get a better understanding of our environment. So much could be done with this land including country walks, camping, cycling trails, conservation projects and so much more please dont let more concrete destroy this beautiful countryside.

It is an iconic building donated to local authority in middle 1840's for the use of local community uses despite of this restriction the Ealing Council is leasing it out for 250 years. The building came to prominence in 1979 when the community rose up and confronted the National Front from holding the meeting at this building. In process over 800 people were arrested and 344 were charged; and Blair Peach died by the hands of Special Petrol Group. This was inspiration for anti-racist struggle in whole country and indeed internationally. Proposal had been sent to Ealing Council to maintain the building at no cost to them and Infact offering rent of £30,000 - but the Council had not stopped the sale.

The rainforests of the world have been devastated in the last 50 years, 80% of the worlds rainforests have already been removed, This must stop now, millions of already endangered animals and insects will be affected and killed by this. Out future generations won't know what rainforests are if we don't act now.

The residents of Princess Mary Gate have contributed over the years to the maintenance and growth of the planting around the development. Many of us are very angry at the decision to simply rip out many plants and trees and replace them with grassed areas.

Protecting cyclist will encourage more people to take to 2 or 3 wheels; in turn, this will deliver better air quality, improve health and make our towns and cities safer for both cyclists and motorists. 'Pink Bobbies' (armadillos) are car friendly as they are designed to nudge oncoming vehicles without damaging tyres and rims, at the same time provide a safe haven for cyclists within dedicated cycle lanes. ‘Pink Bobbies’ are also made from recycled car tires, providing an environmentally sustainable solution to tire disposal.

There has been a great increase in the UK of acid attacks on innocent individuals. Those people have suffered severe burns all over their bodies with substantial facial disfigurement. The injuries the victims have are life changing and have a severe negative impact on both physical and mental health. The purpose of these attackers is to spread terror and fear amongst the general public causing people not to leave their homrs and changing their daily lifestyles. It's vital that the government introduces a strong ban on such substances.

The saving of £1.6 million would be counterproductive as cutting bus services in Cheshire East will have undesirable consequences and cause distress and inconvenience to many residents. We believe that the following groups would be more adversely affected; the elderly, disabled and infirm, the young and people on low incomes. Getting to work, shops, schools, colleges, doctors, banks, social events and hospital appointments would be made more inaccessible. We also believe that trade in towns and town markets will be affected. The stopping of evening services will have a negative affect on restaurants and pubs and other social groups. We are concerned that the withdrawal of bus services will result in more cars on the road and significant reduction in air quality. Many of the towns and villages are growing in size and as a result we should be given improved services not declining ones.

In October this year EDDC will decide on future development for the Port Royal area of our seafront. This follows a scoping study done in conjunction with Sidmouth Town Council. The large-scale development put forward in the consultation (and as proposed in the Local Plan) will have a huge impact on the views, use of the area and change its unique character. People in Sidmouth have been asking why the area can't remain as it is, with subtle improvements and changes. We now call on EDDC to reconsider their plan for a large new building and adopt our proposal to Retain, Refurbish and Reuse. Retain existing buildings, allow careful refurbishment of the whole area and open up discussions on potential uses for the Drill Hall.
